Thank You

A note from Andreea

I don’t even have the words to express the surprise, joy, and shock that have hit me over the last 24 hours. ❤️

Here I was, a mom of five and a former educator, thinking I was simply going to create a curriculum I could use to teach my struggling child. After hours and hours of work, fixes, changes, tweaks, and even scrapping things and starting over, I began to wonder if anyone else might want to use what I had spent so much time creating. Maybe a few families could try it, give me some feedback, and help me see if it was something other homeschoolers might be interested in using.

I thought I might get 4–5 families.

But in less than 24 hours, over 200 families have expressed interest in trying it! This literally brought me to tears. 😭❤️

My husband has spent the last 12 hours scrambling to put together a website so I have a place to share the curriculum with everyone. And my sweet oldest daughter, a junior in high school, took the time to fully illustrate the cover because she wanted to support me in this project!

I honestly don’t even know what to say. My emotions are all over the place, in the very best way, and I wanted to personally thank YOU for your support, encouragement, and excitement—for taking the time to reach out and express interest in my little curriculum. You have no idea how much it means to me. ❤️

Everything has been moving at lightning speed as I try to get this curriculum into your hands as soon as possible!

I remember teaching high school and absolutely LOVING creating lessons and watching students experience those aha! moments when something finally clicked. That was one of my favorite parts of teaching.

As you begin using this curriculum with your children, my hope and prayer is that they will experience those same moments. I hope that grouping the letters according to their strokes, in the way I envisioned, will help make cursive more approachable and help your child develop a love for writing!

And one more thing: if your child doesn’t like the way a particular capital letter looks, that’s okay! Honestly, many of us have letters we don’t particularly love. 😉 Cursive has variations, and calligraphy offers so many beautiful styles and letterforms to explore. I want to encourage your children to learn the fundamentals while also enjoying the beauty and creativity of handwriting.

I’ve made change after change to this curriculum, and if you’re an educator, you know exactly what I mean. No matter how much time and effort you put into creating something, you can always find something else to improve, adjust, or try a different way. There is always room to grow! So, as you work through this curriculum, I hope you’ll see the thought, care, and countless hours that have gone into creating it. I’ve truly tried to make it as helpful as possible, and I know there will always be room to learn and improve along the way.

So, with that said, please know that the black-and-white version is on its way! I’m hoping to have the free PDF ready to share within the next week. My hope is that every family who wants to try this curriculum will have the opportunity to do so!

For those who would prefer a beautiful, full-color printed copy, we’re working hard to get the colored curriculum published on Amazon before Thanksgiving! It will be available for $15, ready to order and shipped straight to your home.

Thank you, truly, for being part of something that started as a little project for my own child and has already grown into something I never expected. I’m so excited to share it with you, hear your feedback, and see how your children respond to it. I’m incredibly grateful to have you along for this journey. ❤️
